A: This is the critical part of the vehicle wrap process. Communication is essential to
ensure your vehicle wrap is laid out properly per your needs. A complete
understanding of the overall project is a must. The design must be done taking
into account that the images used need to be high resolution and full size at 75
dpi. File types must be adhered to per our specifications and the wrap design
must be properly scaled to the vehicle. We encourage our clients to focus on the
purpose of the vehicle wrap. We have found that simple but deliberate design
works best. The vehicle is a moving billboard advertisement, so the message on
the vehicle wrap must be instantly understood. The audience only has 3 seconds
or so to get the message.
A: Installation is last but definitely not least. An indoor location and properly trained
installer is crucial. We have listings of Certified Installers that we use all over the
country. If we don’t have an installer within a hour from your location, they will
travel to your to complete the job. An additional trip charge may apply.
A: Sure, we’ve wrapped many leased vehicles. The wrap can easily be removed
without any damage at the end of the lease.
A: Vehicle graphic removal is simple. Gentle heat is applied to soften the adhesive
and the graphics are then easily pulled away from the surface. Using regular
automotive cleaners removes any remaining adhesive on the surface. There are
also removable graphic materials that do not need any heat or chemical cleanup.
A: The vinyl will not harm the surface. Vinyl has been used for years on cars, trucks,
boats, and personal watercraft. In fact, after years of a vinyl graphic being
applied and then removed you may notice that the paint under the vinyl graphic is
glossy and shiny, while the paint that was not protected by the vinyl may be
faded from weather conditions.
A: Hand washing is best. Avoid high pressure washes and be careful never to use
an ice-scraper. Sweeping off windows with a soft broom and rear defroster will
cause no damage to your window graphics.
A: Absolutely, we have wrapped buildings, windows, storefronts and large
machinery. If the surface to wrap has enough adhesion for the vinyl, a wrap is
possible.
